Let me just say, I love the beautiful ladies of TuesdaysTogether San Diego and the way our minds make such beautiful images! As a part of the Rising Tide Society Styled Shoot Challenge, we got together and planned a Mexican Bohemian inspired styled shoot. These are a couple shots of us out on Coronado Island during our styled shoot. As you can see, we had such a great time!

This menu design has become one of my favorite portfolio additions. I’d never contributed to a styled shoot before, so I had a ball coming up with this little design on my own, inspired by the mood board put together by a few of our TT members. Floral anything is my Jam, so when I saw the model in the photo had a flower crown, I knew exactly what I wanted to do! I mean, who doesn’t love a beautiful bouquet of bright flowers and succulents? I had the menus printed on the creamiest of pearl linen papers I’d ever seen, and fell in love.

Also, I am always laughing. Always. Even some of my professional headshots have a couple shots of me laughing, mouth wide open.

Oh, Hey!

I want to start off by saying that you, as you are, and in your business, are enough. You’re doing your best, whether you’re perfect or perfectly imperfect. You are where you need to be, and you can only grow from here.

I’m rooting for you!

Being a solopreneur is Hard, and no one really says that out loud. It’s hard, and sometimes it’s lonely. Okay, most times it’s lonely. I moved 3,000 miles away from my hometown recently, and No One told me how hard moving a business would be (on top of moving from family and friends), but I’ll tell you what: It’s the best thing that happened to me and my business. Now, I have a bi-coastal tribe that I can call on!

This new California experience has been the struggle, just like starting up a business, but every day I’m thankful that I’ve found more like-minded, LOUD!, and adventurous women that grind harder than anyone else I know.

So, I want to challenge you to find your tribe. Find those women and/or men that lift you up while keeping you grounded and that keep you reassured while on your path to successful greatness!

Join your local Tuesday’s Together. Sign up for MeetUp.com! Attend those networking events that pop up on your Facebook every so often. Trade business cards, and call up one of them and meet for coffee.

And remember, You are Enough.

xo, Kayla.
